Movie, anyone?
It’s Monday (when I’m posting this) and I’m already looking forward to the weekend. Not because I have big plans–because I don’t. In fact, I’m gonna be on my own.
Now, before you go thinking I’m more than a little pathetic, let me explain. I’ve got a manuscript to write and another to tweak. So I need the quiet and I need the time.
That said, we all know the saying about all work and no play…
So, I want something fun to look forward to…
Like a movie and popcorn from the comfort of my couch.
Since I’m not exactly up on movies, I’m turning to you, my faithful readers, to advise me on what I should rent. I like chick flicks. I tend to lean towards light and fun, however a good drama or suspense flick will work provided the plot isn’t too complex (I’ll be viewing this after a long day of writing and other assorted tasks).
Suggestions?

Hmm. A repeat of Doc Hollywood was on the other day–that was a good one, and right up the alley of your new series! Another oldie fave: Pretty Woman (yeah, yeah, but I don’t care). Have you seen Where The Heart Is? That’s a good one, too. My Big Fat Greek Wedding was fun…

Thanks, Heather! I actually ended up watching Pretty Woman. I enjoyed it as much as I used to.

When I’m staying home sick, it’s either a Harry Potter marathon or Nanny McFee.

Hey, Lynn. I’ve not seen any of the Harry Potter movies. I’ve caught snatches of one, but nothing all the way through. Nanny McFee is fun!
In addition to Pretty Woman (Friday), I watched Overboard (Saturday), and Housesitter (Sunday).
Unfortunately, I didn’t get many of my “tasks” done, though. :/
