The Sky’s The Limit

Filed in odds and ends

If you could whisk yourself away for the next twenty-four hours…where would you go? Who would you go with? And what would you do?

C’mon, dream with me…

I would go to Hawaii, lay on the beach, eat a great dinner, see the sights and read.

It’s funny, but I’m almost curious to see how my own answer might change from day to day. RIGHT NOW, I think I’d pick a B & B in some quiet, secluded place with my guy. Hiking by day, cuddling in front of a fire at night (or, if it’s too warm, cuddling on a porch swing).

    Tomorrow…who knows?

A friend just returned from the Atlantis Resort in the Bahamas and told me all about a sea lion exhibit where you can play with the sea lion… So, today, my pick would be to go to the Bahamas and play with that sea lion with my family.

Heather, sea lions are my all-time favorite animal. Getting to play with one would be so cool. There’s a sea lion show at the zoo in St. Louis and they pick kids to do stuff during the performance. I’ve always wished they’d pick me even though I’m *kinda* older.

I was curious how my choice would change. But today, the B & B in some secluded locale is still my choice…

I would fly to an exquisite mountain resort with my critique group. We would spend the week writing, reading, reviewing, and relaxing.
