We could all use some more girlfriend bonding time. It seems that we often get too busy taking care of others and the details of daily life, but neglect the things that rejuvinate ourselves. More Girl Power to ya! ;o)

There's an email chain that runs the internet (I've seen it several times) that has a poem about keeping your girls close. I think we need that, even more than the guys need their buds. Having a girls day hooks us into who we wanted to be. We can talk about our dreams, our goals or even (gasp) our weight and what we want to be. Girl time has something that reminds me of my first friendships where anything was possible. Where I wrote a family newsletter with my cousins (and found out there wasn't anything newsworthy in my family that wasn't a secret.) I don't remember myself enough.
