What Can YOU Do?

Everyone has one…  breakfastclub1

In The Breakfast Club, Molly Ringwald could slip a tube of lipstick in her bra and paint her lips.  Her nemesis in the film, Ally Sheedy, could play Heart & Soul on the piano with her toes. And, Emilio Estevez? Well, he could tape everyone’s buns together…

Ace Frehley from KISS could sit on bent legs and drop his head back to the ground (I, too, could do this in my younger days)…bigmac

And me? I can recite the famous Big Mac Slogan (in its entirety, mind you) BACKWARDS.  Just don’t ask me to recite our country’s presidents, okay?

So c’mon, come clean. What’s your weird thing?

I can read upside down while I’m standing in front of a desk.

I spent all my high school trying NOT to be weird…and you can guess how that came out.

I used to be able to predict what the management group was going to do either with a promotion or a move of personnel. I was scary good. But mostly I was just paying attention.

    Does that count?

Ok, I found another one… I can pick out Simply Vera clothes without seeing the Vera Wang line at clothes. I was talking to a co worker and she had on a new piece I hadn’t seen before…she was surprised I could identify the designer…. again…details.

Both my thumbs are double-jointed, so I can move them in weird ways.

What’s really fascinating about this is that all three of my daughters have ONE double-jointed thumb, and it’s the same one for all three of them. Genetics at work!

I can also roll my tongue every way possible. None of my daughters can roll theirs more than one way, and neither can my grandson.

    Yeah, we’re a fun family. :-)

I may have mentioned this already…I can catch coins off my elbow (like Fonzie did on one episode). I’m not sure how many I can do now, but years ago my record was 22!

LOL, Dru…I imagine that’s come in handy many times. Love it.

Sure, that counts, Lynn. Why not. As for your designer clothes knowledge…you’re way up on me. Way up.

Karen, that is wild!!! My eldest daughter can do weird things with her thumbs, too. Genetics are an interesting thing. I have a genetic oops with two of my toes on each foot. SO SO SO glad my kids didn’t inherit that. I used to hate to wear flip flops because of it…until Ashton Kutcher went on the Tonight Show years ago and held his (same issue) up in front of the world to see. I figured if he could be proud, so could I. Know I live in flip flops. :)

Nikki, I think you should check your count and report back to us. Pronto!

24 pennies, and that felt like a good place to stop without having a miss that would terrify the cats!
