Land, Sea, or Air? What Would You Choose?
I posed this question to the family recently and got some really cool answers (they’re my guinea pigs for Dreamer Monday blogs).
If you could be an animal, what would you choose and why?
Me? I have two. And, interestingly enough, they’re both water animals (perhaps that’s why I love the beach/ocean so much).
First, a sea lion. Though my sea lion would be at the zoo…with a really cool trainer. It would be fun to make all those kids happy though, I’m not so sure I’d be crazy about eating fish…
Second, a dolphin. They look like such fun, happy animals. I’d love swimming in the
wake of a power boat and having that kind of freedom. I think my preferred habitat would be in an inlet where I don’t have to worry too much about sharks and I can just chase boats all day.
Your turn.

I’d want to be a cat. Not a house cat. A big cat. But not a lioness who does all the work and the lion just lays around. Maybe a jaguar. Sleek, power colors, and a coat to keep you from being chilled.

Either a sea otter, because they are sleek and fast and wicked-cool. Or a Galapagos tortoise. Because they just sort of…take…their time…kicking back…around the islands.

And Lynn, EVERYbody wants to be a cat, because a cat’s the only cat, who knows where it’s at.

I LOVE sea otters, Joe! So cute! And LOL on the lioness, Lynn! That’s too much like real life. LOL!

I would love to be a whale because they are so majestic when they breech through the water. This is coming from a person who has a fear of water.
Or I would be a tiger because they just command attention.

LOL Joe! Well, you may have a point. I always said that if reincarnation turns out to be how it is, I wanted to be reincarnated as one of my mother’s house cats. Spoiled rotten, treated like a queen, and get to sleep 16 hours a day!

16 hours? Of sleep? Count me in, Shel!!!
Dru, there IS something very majestic about the whale, isn’t there? Would love to see one up close (from the safety of a boat).

LOL Elizabeth – I was extremely tired when I wrote that, and at the time, 16 hours of sleep a day sounded divine! Even though I’ve now caught up a bit, it still sounds pretty good, though!
