A Day for the Memory Books
Filed in Dreamer Mondays
As you’re reading today’s blog, I’m in NYC with my youngest daughter enjoying some special mom and me time. We’ll be lunching at the American Girl Place, shopping, walking around Central Park, and haunting any and all bookstores we pass along the way.
We’ve been looking forward to today for a long time and now that it’s here, I hope it doesn’t go too fast.
In honor of our special day, I figured I’d theme today’s “Dreamer Monday” in kind.
So here goes…
If you had a whole day to just you and your child, what would you do? If you have more than one kid, tell me what you’d do with each one individually. If you don’t have any children, tell me who you’d like to spend the day with and what would you do?

With my son, it’s camping in a nearby national forest. With my daughter, it’s foraging in book shops.
But kicking back with board games or playing Animal Crossing on the Wii works just fine, too.
Hope your day is wonderful.

I love your daughter and me day, it reminds me of the time I took my niece to see her first Broadway show and we had a good time.
I would spend some time with my niece going out to a nice restaurant and just chatting about her first year of college and what she wants to do in life.
BTW, the B&N where I sighted your book is two blocks from the American Girl Place.

I’d spend the day with my son in Seattle, hitting the underground and the bookstores. Drinking coffee and eating seafood, it would be perfect.

Reporting in. We had a FABULOUS day!!!! My feet were happy-tired by the time we got back on the train home.
Dru, I didn’t get to that store but I did check out the Borders at Columbus Circle and it was there!
