Making Quick Work of the TBR Pile

I’ve discovered a curious thing about my new e-reader…

I’m reading more.

Anyone else notice the same thing?

ELC – can those machines read to me? I have not explored this world so for a quick answer I thought you might know. Mary

Yep. But I tend to jump around from book to book a lot. I’ve often had two books and sometimes three going at once, but being able to just press a couple of buttons and change books really facilitates reading four or five at a time.

Mary, I honestly don’t know much about the technology so I don’t know if they can read to you. I still prefer a paperback/hardcover, but I like being able to whip out this ereader in a car at night while waiting for one of the kids be done with an activity and it’s lit. Makes brief reading windows a bit easier to take advantage of.

Dusty, I’ve never been a book switcher. Just can’t do it. Also can’t work on two or three manuscripts at a time, either. But I’m plowing through books (not a good thing right now when I’m supposed to be writing, I tell you).
