B-B-Bits & P-P-Pieces

It’s cold out. Really, really cold out. Which makes it hard to think of anything besides cold-weather things. So here we go…

1) Blanket or robe?

2) What do you reach for when you want to add something to your hot chocolate?

3) Ski or sled? Bonus points if you  have a funny story to share about either.

4) Name a song that instantly makes you think of warmth.

    1) Robe because it can move with me easily.

    2) Caramel or vanilla syrup

    3) Sled – I am not allowed to ski. i went cross-country skiing with my friend in a beautiful, serene, softly-hilled (like a 1 foot peak) park and I screamed going over every “hill” and fell after each attempt. I disturbed the peace. My friend never asked me to go with her again – nor did I want to. Sledding is way more fun!!

    4) I can’t think of any but holiday songs. When it’s this cold (we are sub-zero this morning) and it’s after the holidays I like to nestle in with dvds – and the robe and hot chocolate. Sledding will have to wait!!

Oooh, Mary, I’m a caramel in my hot chocolate girl, too. Not sure if you have a Denny’s near you–but if you do–you MUST order their caramel hot chocolate. Best ever.

    here’s mine:

    1) I’m like Linus when winter comes. Have blanket, will travel (throughout the house, anyway).

    2) Caramel. Though, at Christmas time, it’s all about sprinkling candy cane shavings on my whipped cream.

    3) Sled. Still love sledding.

    4) Beach Boy songs always make me think of summer. Always.

    Blanket

    Vanilla and coffee. :)

Ski – cross country only. I got going too fast and decided to fall to stop my slide? Hint – packed snow that glistens only looks soft…

The Kid Rock song about Sweet Home Alabama… All Summer Long.

    Blanket

    Marshmallow

Neither – but my funny story is when I took my first and last ski trip upstate, I could not do any of the “skiing” moves, but darn if I could fall down. I got an award for the best “falling down” moves.

    Ouch, Lynn. Ouch!!!

Dru, I suspect I’d be pretty good at the falling down part, too. LOL. And while I can’t say I know Will Smith’s music, I adore him as an actor. I could watch Hitch a million times over. Love him in that role!

    1) Blanket

    2) Mint

    3) Ski. And I have a hysterical story that involves getting pushed off a ski lift … for my own safety, of course.

    4) Margaritaville (pretty much any Jimmy Buffett song) and When the Sun Goes Down by Kenny Chesney and Uncle Kracker
