Just when we think spring is ready to come, a big ol’ snowstorm is barreling in my direction. On what was supposed to be a pretty busy week, I might add.
In the meantime, though, how about three things from the weekend (although I’m kind of reaching this go-round)?
I spent a large chunk of my Friday and Saturday reading through Emergency Dessert Squad # 3–Dial M for Mousse–in what is known as the “copy edit” phase. It was pretty smooth sailing, but because it’s one of the last stages to catch a mistake, it’s a tiring kind of read.
Then Saturday evening, DD # 1 and I headed up to Boston for a big audition thing. I hung out in the hotel for most of Sunday morning, while she was a few miles away doing her thing. I wrote this post ( 🙂 ), watched a preview of a TV show a friend is involved with, and generally killed time. And I had a Boston Crème donut because, well, yeah…
And then, it was time to drive over to Albany to meet up with a fellow college student DD # 1 was going the rest of the way home with, and then for me to continue on to home (about 4-4 1/2 hours in all). I, of course, turned to hefty amounts of car snacks to keep me awake until I was back safely in my own bed.
Okay, your turn. Tell us three things you did over the weekend.
