Lots of Things…

I am back after a rather long traveling stint.  The first weekend of my 9 day excursion had me in Lockport, NY for a weekend with readers.  The first stop was a panel discussion for the local Sisters in Crime chapter…

The second stop was for a signing at the Book Shoppe in Medina, NY…

The third (and main) stop was the 2017 mystery train event. Last week, before I left on the second part of my trip, I shared a picture with you that had me in a gangster outfit (the theme of the train). But here’s another picture from the event…

lockport2What’s especially fun about this picture is that I’m in it with…*drum roll*…our own Debbie from this blog! 🙂

Here’s another, with a different reader…

Then it was back home for a lunch with my Kensington editor in the city, followed by a trip to this year’s Bouchercon Mystery Conference in Toronto, Canada. This was the view from my hotel room…

I had a great time catching up with fellow writers, readers, and my editor from Berkley Publishing (Penguin). And, since I was traveling with one of my dearest friends, we also checked out some pretty cool restaurants.

So that was my weekend (and longer). How was yours? Do you have three things to share?

What fun! And how neat that you and Debbie were on the same Mystery Train!!
I worked on a quilt, watched some Garage Sale Mystery movies that I had on DVR, and on Sunday I went with my boyfriend and his daughter to see the My Little Pony movie. It has a good message for kids and it was very colorful. His daughter enjoyed it! Movie theater food is ridiculously overpriced!!

Your weekend sounds very nice and relaxing, Andrea! And yes, theater food is nuts!

I just knew that was our Debbie when I saw that on facebook. So jealous, but happy, lol. Did a whole lot of nothing this weekend. The weather was nice and I was lazy, perfect time! Sounds like you had a blast. Thanks for sharing the photos!!
