Three Things

Yup, it’s Monday again. Which means it’s time to look back over the weekend and share three things we did/accomplished/made us smile/experienced/watched…whatever.

Here’s mine:

Friday night, DH and I went to a Rangers/Calgary game at Madison Square Garden. The tickets were one of my Christmas gifts to him. I got the tickets from a season ticket holder I sat next to with a friend a few years ago. Great seats.

Saturday, I drove about an hour or so north to have lunch with a friend who is having a tough time right now. I’d hoped the hour or so break would give her a boost. I think it did, so that’s good…

And Sunday, well, that was the day I sorted all of my 2017 writing expenses for the upcoming accountant appointment later this month. For the few hours I’m doing this, the dining room table looks like a bomb went off with receipts everywhere. But I have a system I’ve established the last few years and it works! So relieved to cross that off my list!

todolistYour turn. Tell us three things from your weekend…

Friday night Deb had a chocolate tasting party with a number of our friends and neighbors. Great to see a lot of people we haven’t seen in awhile.

Saturday we went bowling with the Boy Scouts in the evening. During the day it was pouring rain so got a few things done inside. It was almost 70 which makes the cabin-fever even worse!

Wrestled again with the suspension on the Capri. Still don’t have the right parts. Ordered some more so hopefully next weekend I’ll make some more progress.

A chocolate tasting party?!? God, I love your wife, Chris…

It must be frustrating to order some parts, and have them be wrong. But it must also be so cool when it finally comes together!

Ok Chocolate tasting party!! Wow and I don’t even like chocolate.
    1. Tried to stay out of the mud as much as possible (not possible)
    2. Had to sleep in the house one night due to storms (came in about 1am) and Tyler not liking them. The hut is not as insulated so he can hear them more. Did not storm anymore after that, but about 4am he started going crazy barking. A canvas print I have on the wall over my computer cabinet lost 2 of the 3 hooks it was hanging on and was scraping the wall. Being half asleep and not wanting to wake anyone up trying to get a ladder, I used the computer chair. Luckily I did not fall and crack my head. Unluckily as I stepped down I bent my toes backwards on the roller leg thingy and broke one or two.
    3. Tried to get caught up on sleep since I can never get any when I have to sleep in here.
Otherwise it was a great weekend! Hope everyone has a wonderful week!
