Was he dreaming, looking at something that sparked it, etc. I know that Ridley Pearson (Peter and the Starcatchers) came about that idea after reading Peter Pan to his daughter at night. She asked him how he thought Peter Pan and Captain Hook first met. Boom, a novel was born. Weird how that happens, isn’t it, Lynn?

For The Bull Rider's Brother - the idea came from a cabin rental hot springs place that we stopped at one camping trip. The owners were growing tilapia in tanks in the back yard. The cabin rental stayed, but the tilapia farm got reassigned. LOL I’m a seed grower too. Only had one run in with him for a detention because I forgot my shoes at work. He never gave me a slip or wrote down anything I saw so I never went. 2 years later he never said a word about it.
